Will I be paid for the submission?
In short, Yes! As writers ourselves, we know how much time and energy goes into to creating a piece of work. We therefore want to reward that hard work in any way we can. Currently we are offering £8 for selected prose fiction and criticism and £5 for selected poems in our print edition. Online publications fees will be £5 for prose and £3 for poetry. Prices for accepted artwork will be discussed on a case by case basis.
How many pieces can I submit?
Please submit either one piece of prose fiction, criticism or artwork or three poems per submission cycle. Please wait until we have returned your initial submission before attempting to send another.
Can I withdraw my submission?
You can withdraw your submission at any time by emailing icebergtales@hotmail.com with the subject line Submission withdrawal. Please tell us the title of the submitted piece and the date on which it was submitted.
Will I get feedback on my submission?
We are very happy to offer feedback if the contributor donates a recommended £2 donation to the magazine. This figure is advisory, any more or less will be very gratefully received. This is not a submission fee! Any work submitted without a donation will still be considered for the magazine and is at no disadvantage.

If you have donated, please state this in the body of your email submission.
Who will own the work?
All the work we receive is owned by the writer or illustrator. Any work published on our website can be removed by request of the artist.
